President Receives Secretary General of the National Security Council of Türkiye

Ukhnaa received Secretary General of the National Security Council of the
Republic of Türkiye Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu on June 16.
At
the onset of the meeting, President Khurelsukh said that he considers the
Republic of Türkiye as an important third neighbor and the most important
gateway to Europe for our country and noted the utmost significance attached to
the cooperation being developed with the Republic of Türkiye, which has
historical and cultural ties and brotherly relations with Mongolia.
Then,
the President asked Mr. Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu to convey his warmest
congratulations to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who won the recent Presidential
election of the Republic of Türkiye and expressed his anticipation that
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would pay a State Visit to Mongolia on the
occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between Mongolia and the Republic of Türkiye, which will mark in 2024.
He
said that it is necessary to cooperate in ensuring the safety of more than
6,000 Mongolian citizens residing in the Republic of Türkiye and preventing
them from becoming victims or involved in crimes and violations, especially
drug and transnational crimes.
Agreeing
with the President’s comments, the Secretary General of the National Security
Council of the Republic of Türkiye Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu highlighted the
signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Security
Councils of the two countries and expressed his readiness to maintain active
cooperation within the framework of this MoU.
