Children’s Festival for International Snow Leopard Day to be held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The World Wildlife Fund Mongolia
Programme Office will mark the ‘International Snow Leopard Day’ for the 6th
year.
Children’s Festival dedicated to the Day will be held
in Gobi-Altai province on October 21. Children from Gobi-Altai, Khovd, Uvs,
Bayan-Ulgii, Umnugobi provinces and Russia will take part in the
festival.
There are around 800-1000 snow leopards in Mongolia and 500-700 of them inhabit in the Altai-Sayan region.
