Intensification of construction projects discussed

/MONTSAME/ Minister of Construction and Urban Development Kh.Badelkhan on
August 15 met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's
Republic of China to Mongolia Xing Haiming, exchanging views on implementation progress
of the projects and programs being undertaken under bilateral economic and
technical cooperation.
Minister Kh.Badelkhan emphasized that many projects are being successfully carried out in Mongolia’s construction sector on the occasion of the historic 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China.
At first, the
sides shared information on implementation of the project on construction of the
new Central Wastewater Treatment Plant of Ulaanbaatar city and the Construction
Minister requested Ambassador Xing Haiming to pay attention to and support intensification
of the project assessment phase as well as overall implementation of the
project.
Ambassador
Xing Haiming said the Chinese side is putting emphasis on the project and that
he will provide support to speed up the project implementation that has been
going as per the plan.
The next
issue discussed was the project on building 1008 housing units in the 9th subdistrict
of Sukhbaatar district which has been under preparation since the establishment
of the project agreement. Minister Kh.Badelkhan informed the Mongolian side is
currently dealing with the issues regarding project design, land acquisition,
and infrastructure development.
