German professor lectures on differential diagnosis of melanoma
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 14, Joachim Alfer, Pathologist
and Professor of the Institute of Pathology Kaufbeuren-Ravensburg, Kaufbeuren,
Germany lectured and shared his experience with physicians, cell biologists,
and anatomic pathology residents of the National Pathology Center about the differential
diagnosis of melanocytic nevus and melanoma.
He also conducted external assessment for the cases most frequently diagnosed in 2018 and suggested working in teams in case of skin diseases and analyzing differential diagnosis.
