Forum for the Development of Mongolia held in Warsaw

/MONTSAME/ First held in London in 2005, the ‘Forum for the Development of
Mongolia’ has become an annual event for Mongolians living abroad. On May 11, the
Embassy of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland and the Council of Mongolians
Abroad NGO jointly organized the forum’s fifteenth edition titled ‘Healthcare System’
with support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland N.Bataa addressed the opening of the forum which brought together over 120 representatives from 17 countries. Moreover, the President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and. Biocidal Products of Poland and the Ambassador of Poland to Mongolia attended the forum.
With aims to address the barriers to developing health system, traditional Mongolian medicine, medical tourism, and medical jurisprudence and ensure public participation, the participants of the forum made presentations and shared their experience on various topics such as role of health technology assessment in health system, achievements in organ transplantation, its management, development and use of traditional Mongolian Medicine and others.
