Natural History Museum to be rebuilt in Ikh Tenger
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting, the Cabinet agreed to rebuild the Natural History Museum in Ikh Tenger area and assigned relevant officials to establish the agreement on the use of land. Therefore, Ministers N.Tserenbat, Kh.Badelkhan and Ts.Davaasuren and Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan were tasked to provide necessary technical conditions and permissions.
The Natural
History Museum of Mongolia was established as the National Museum of Mongolia
in 1924 and its building was initially put up in 1955 as an agricultural college. However, the museum was put out of service in 2013 because it had become
unable to maintain its shape.
