Commemorative coins released for 95th anniversary of banking sector

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. This
year marks the 95th anniversary of Mongolia's banking and financial sector
establishment. In connection with this event, the Bank of Mongolia has enriched its
series of commemorative collection with the 1 oz and 5 oz .999 sterling silver
coins.
Under the Law on Treasury,
the Bank of Mongolia issues commemorative coins on occasion of state and
international celebrations. The BoM issued its first commemorative coin in
1974, highlighting 50th anniversary of its establishment.
