Regulation adopted to coordinate domestic humanitarian aid

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On August 29, the Cabinet adopted a regulation on coordinating domestic humanitarian aids for disaster protection.
The regulation allows to resolve necessities to improve coordination and legal environment of domestic assistance being rendered for elimination of disaster aftermath and reconstruction activities.
It assigns an authorized person to organize activities of donation and assistance. It reads that a Member of Cabinet in charge of emergency issues at national level and governor at local level shall issue a decision on asking domestic humanitarian aid and making appeals with a purpose to assist in actions to protect from disaster in case the damage caused by disaster exceeds the national economic and social capability.
