Parliament Speaker issues ordinance to call irregular session

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Today, August 30, Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold issued an ordinance on “Calling Parliamentary irregular session”. The ordinance stated that the Parliamentary irregular session would be convened between August 30, and September 07, 2017 to discuss an issue related to dismissal of the Prime Minister.
The ordinance provides legal basis for calling meetings of plenary session and meetings of Parliamentary Standing committees. Therefore the Standing committees on State Structure as well as Security and Foreign Policy will hold their meetings after political party groups in the parliament agree on the irregular session agenda.
