Prime Ministers of Mongolia and Vietnam make press statement
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The visit by the Vietnamese PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Mongolia, began July 13, is the very first from Vietnam to Mongolia in the last 17 years, underlined Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat at the joint press briefing about the results of their talks.
According to our PM, the official talks concerned new opportunities to deepen bilateral ties and wide range of issues on the cooperation in international arena. He was satisfied with the friendly and effective atmosphere of the official talks.
The talks were of great importance, having considered the future capacity of the cooperation of two nations in politics, economy, trade, investment, agriculture and humanity, and upgrading the traditional ties, he noted.
The sides signed Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Mongolian Employers’ Federation and the Vietnam Chamber of Trade and Industry, which is expected to make much contribution in widening private sector cooperation of the two countries while also boosting trade and investment, said J.Erdenebat PM.
Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc applauded the organization of side events and preparation to the ASEM Summit, and noted that this summit is of great significance in improving Mongolia’s international position. Vietnam will be collaborating on organizing of the summit, he said.
Highlighting that the official talks have completed with success, the Vietnam PM informed that the two heads of the governments reached agreements on a number of crucial issues after discussing wide range of international and regional cooperation issues.
At the press statement for national and international media, the PM J.Erdenebat stated his belief that this visit will become an impetus to strengthening trust and ties between governments, and to deepening cooperation in every possible sphere.
