“Open Governance Partnership” public discussion organized
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government and vice chair of the National council of Open Governance Partnership G.Ganbold addressed an open discussion themed “Open governance partnership and Mongolia” which took place on Thursday.
Main objectives of the discussion were to review a draft 2016-2018 national action plan and to receive certain proposals thereto. The participants came up with their proposals and ideas about improving the public services, strengthening justice at high levels, forming effective mineral resources management, building safe society and enhancing corporate social responsibility.
Recalling Mongolia joined the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in 2013, Ganbold pointed out the national council is set to release the 2016-2018 action plan this month, while the previous action plan for 2014-2016 already has been audited and concluded.
Commencing activities of the “11 11” center at the government and implementing the law on “glass” account are effective approaches to improve the public services and promoting the civil engagement in it, he said.
