Mongolia Participates in the First Eurasian IT Forum

Ulaanbaatar, February 21, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia and the GOVTECH platform is organizing the first Eurasian IT Forum in Moscow, Russia, on February 20-21, 2024, under the theme “Digital Sovereignty as the Basis for Long-Term International Cooperation.”
Representing the Ministry of Digital Development and Communication of Mongolia, Advisor to the Minister B.Ganbat, Head of Public Administration Department Ts. Erdene-Bayar, and Specialist of the Public Information Infrastructure Division B. Lhagvadolgor participated in the Forum, exchanging information and best practices. They agreed to cooperate at the regional level.
At the Forum, the parties discussed best practices in preparing e-transition leaders, leveraging artificial intelligence, enhancing information security, creating smart cities and regions, and addressing the challenges of implementing smart solutions. Additionally, they explored the use of advanced technologies and recent trends in these areas.
The participants also shared their experiences on national e-transition strategies, the transition of government services to digital platforms, information system development in Euro-Asian countries, data management practices, user-centered business process engineering approaches, and various aspects of e-government services, including information security.
The Eurasian IT Forum brought together representatives from ministries, companies, universities, research institutions, and non-governmental organizations in the IT sector from over ten countries.
