COVID-19: Local transmission cases reach 454

A.Ambaselmaa reported that seven new cases of COVID-19 were detected in
Mongolia after 20,633 people were tested nationwide yesterday, December 10.
Six cases were recorded in Ulaanbaatar and one in Selenge
aimag. Four cases in Ulaanbaatar and one case in Selenge are people who were being
isolated because they were close contacts to the previously confirmed cases.
They were confirmed after the repeated testing. The other two cases were
detected as a result of the surveillance testing.
As of today, Mongolia now has a total of 905 cases of
COVID-19, with 454 local transmission cases.
