Commemorative coin issued for the Year of the Mouse

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia like other countries issues commemorative coins in unique designs and small amounts to commemorate special historic events. For example, there are collections called 12 Zodiac Animals, and Endangered Animals - Mongolian Landscapes.
The bank of Mongolia recently added a silver coin ‘Year of the Mouse’ that weighs 31.1 g and has a diameter of 38.61 mm to the 12 Zodiac Animals collection.
The newly-released coin with a Swarovski crystal embedded in it is on sale for MNT 280,000 at coin.mongolbank.mn.
