Ulaanbaatar, September 24, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Today, the Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia G. Zandanshatar welcomed the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin, who is visiting our country at the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament on September 23-25, at Sukhbaatar Square.
The Chairman of the State Great Khural G. Zandanshatar and the Chairman of the State Duma V.V. Volodin paid respect to the statue of Chinggis Khaan, and the Chairman of the State Duma V.V. Volodin signed the Book of Honorable Guests. The official talks between the Chairman of the State Great Khural G. Zandanshatar and the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V.V. Volodin have begun in the State Palace.
During the meeting, the two Speakers will exchange opinions on activating inter-parliamentary cooperation aimed at strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and Russia, and expanding cooperation in the trade, economy, investment, and humanitarian sectors of the two countries.
