Northeast Asian Countries Expand Regional Cooperation

Ulaanbaatar, August 28, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo opened in Changchun, Jilin Province, People’s Republic of China, on August 27, 2025.
The expo, held under the theme “Northeast Asian Countries Joining Hands to Create a Future Through Openness”, was attended by representatives of more than 40 countries, including heads of state and government from Northeast Asian countries, the President of the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lkhagvajav Baatarjav, and numerous business leaders. Member of Parliament Tsogtbaatar Damdin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Development Baatarkhuu Idesh, and other officials participated in discussions focused on promoting Mongolian products.
The Expo, which first launched in 2005, has facilitated CNY 100 billion in trade, 3,023 projects, and CNY 20.5 billion in investment contracts.
The expo is scheduled to run until August 31, 2025.
