Training of trainers workshop held in Zavkhan aimag

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Within the framework of the 'Localizing the Sustainable
Development Goals in Zavkhan aimag' initiative by Zavkhan aimag’s Governor’s
Office and UNDP, the 5-year Development guidelines for 2021-2025 of Zavkhan
aimag has been drafted and is being implemented in line with the SDGs and Mongolia's
Vision 2050 long-term development policy.
The capacity of Zavkhan government specialists engaged in drafting its mid and short-term development policies are being built in planning, reporting, and monitoring methods as well as conducting situational analysis and assessing local comparative advantages in the drafting of mid-term development programmes.
On October 13-14, six divisions of Zavkhan aimag, including 18 senior specialists and officers in charge of planning, monitoring and training, as well as deputy governors of 24 soums participated in a virtual and in-person Training of Trainers workshop on planning, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation.
Within October, the above civil servants and staff from the remaining government agencies in 24 soums of Zavkhan aimag will participate in the capacity building workshops & receive their official certificates.
