Bogd Khaan Palace Museum: Bogd Khaan’s Toy Ger from Childhood

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Bogd Jebtsundamba used to play with the toy ger at the age of 5 when he came to Khuree from Lhasa. He was introduced to Mongolian culture and customs by playing with this Mongolian ger.

The ger consists of a blue satin roof with passementerie, red silk adornment, blue silk door, smoke hole cover, wooden boards closing off the lower edge, wooden floor, walls, poles, door, and upper fame.
The furniture in this ger retains features of the incarnations' ger where it has a small wooden bed, altar, drawer, chest, felt mattress, and cushion.
