Comprehensive policy document on human development to be developed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 4, MP B.Bayarsaikhan held a meeting with Minister of Labor and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya, Minister of Culture S.Chuluun, Minister of Education and Science L.Tsedevsuren, Deputy Minister of Health Sh.Ankhmaa and the state secretaries of the ministries to discuss the development of the Comprehensive Policy Document on Human Development.
MP B.Bayarsaikhan noted the importance of the significance being given by corresponding ministries to the Comprehensive Policy Document on Human Development during this crucial time of developing the 2020-2024 Government action program and budget amendment. “Although human development is in the area of matters handled by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the matter is not able to be properly tackled without correlation between each sector. Thus for starters, a joint working group should be established, and ministries must work actively,” she said.
The ministers introduced their suggestions for the policy document, work plans and pressing issues. Minister of Education and Science L.Tsedevsuren noted an initiative aimed at developing internationally-recognized Mongolians, starting it from kindergarten and school curriculum, which will be focused by the ministry. Minister of Culture S.Chuluun highlighted that the Ministry of Culture will be the main ministry to be actively involved in the human development matter.
