Minister of Health receives Ambassador of Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On February 4, Minister of Health D.Sarangerel received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal, and Programme Coordinator of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) Emrah Ustaomer. They discussed the current state of coronavirus outbreak at the global level and preventive measures being taken in Mongolia.
At the start of the meeting, Ambassador Ahmet Yazal expressed gratitude to the Government of Mongolia for giving permission for temporary landing the airplane that carried Turkish citizens from Wuhan, China, and informed that a preliminary list of highly necessary medicine, equipment, and personal protective equipment has been received and started relevant studies.
In turn, Minister of Health D.Sarangerel expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for taking the initiative in providing the necessary medicine, equipment, and personal protective equipment during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
