Citizens to have online access to health insurance

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The operations of the General Authority for Health Insurance, and Health Insurance Fund completed the transition to online platform as a part of the step-by-step measures to comprehensively bring the health sector online in 2019. 


As for this year, plans are set to establish a database for the health records of all citizens, which makes patients’ previous illness, diagnosis, and tests easily accessible to doctors, eliminating the necessity for citizens to retake test at each hospital. 

 

The system is planned to be fully introduced in the sector from October of 2020.
