Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Rain is expected in the central region and the eastern region with the temperature dropping on July 23 and 24 respectively. Thunderstorms are also expected in the northern region on July 24-25, and in some parts of the western and central region on July 26.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Ider, Tes and Terelj rivers, the night-time temperature will range from +4 to +9 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +16 to +21.
In the southern gobi region, the temperature will be +17 to +22 during the night, and +30 to +35 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +12 to +17 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +20 to +25 degrees Celsius.
As thunderstorms are expected throughout the country in the next few days, there is a high probability of the river water levels increasing in a short period of time as a result.
