Mongolian Government Approves Master Plan for Zamyn-Uud-Erenhot Economic Cooperation Zone

Ulaanbaatar, October 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. During its regular session on October 1, 2025, the Government of Mongolia approved the Master Plan for the Joint Development of the Zamyn-Uud–Erenhot Economic Cooperation Zone between Mongolia and China.
The
plan was endorsed within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement
between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the People’s Republic
of China on establishing the Zamyn-Uud–Erenhot
Economic Cooperation Zone.
To ensure implementation of the plan, Deputy Prime Minister Amarsaikhan Sainbuyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh were assigned to take the necessary measures. In addition, members of the Cabinet were instructed to cooperate within their respective areas of responsibility and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to support the development of the free zone.
