President discusses child protection issues with authorities of government organizations
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga held a meeting with authorities and representatives of some government bodies and discussed issues related to child protection on August 30th. President Battulga concluded the meeting by fixing a second meeting to review the results after one month, and the second meeting was held today in the State Palace.
The
President started the meeting saying, “I have reviewed the reports by you. I
will ask questions to make clarifications. I receive a lot of complaints and
petitions from the citizens. Therefore, we will seek ways to cooperate in
regard to child protection and solutions to the existing challenges and will
continue to meet until some problems are resolved.”
The
President questioned the authorities of government organizations about certain
issues, including child protection standards, school risk assessment, professionalism
of teachers, school lunch program, security measures taken by the General
Authority for Specialized Inspection, cyber security, road safety, and child
protection funds.
