Cabinet appoints new head of General Intelligence Agency

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During its regular meeting on November 1, the Cabinet appointed a new Director of the General Intelligence Agency.
D.Gerel, former Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea, has been re-appointed as head of the General Intelligence Agency. D.Gerel previously served as Director of the General Intelligence Agency in 2012-2013.
The Cabinet discussed the appointment of B.Khurts, predecessor of D.Gerel, as Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea as current Ambassador B.Ganbold has completed his term. The Cabinet gave a nod to the appointment of B.Khurts and resolved to submit to the President.
