UB Mayor meets Russian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city S.Batbold received I.K.Azizov, Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Mongolia, on October 6.

This meeting was held in connection with an upcoming visit of the Ulaanbaatar Mayor to Moscow to be paid on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the brotherhood ties between the capital cities.

At the meeting, the sides discussed an expo and measures to be organized during the visit as well as further cooperation between Ulaanbaatar and Moscow. The Mayor informed to the Russian Ambassador about starting construction works to erect a monument of Issa Aleksandrovich Pliyev, Hero of the Mongolian People’s Republic, in Ulaanbaatar.
