Red deer fawns relocated in Khantaishir Range
The relocation of red deers in Gobi-Altai aimag for blood transfusion and breeding purposes has been implemented for the second year. Ten red deer were relocated from Khustai National Park to the Khantaishir Range in Khaliun soum of Gobi-Altai aimag on July 8.

In the first half of 2018, 2.8 million persons crossed the border of Mongolia. Majority of inbound passengers or 39.2% have crossed through Zamiin-Uud border crossing, whereas 17.2% through Buyant-Ukhaa, 12.3% Gashuunsukhait, 11.0% Altanbulag, 7.3% Shiveekhuren, and 13.0% other border crossings.

Number of mammals in UB green space increases
Environmental Department of Ulaanbaatar city has conducted a monitoring on populations of mammals living in a total green space in the capital city. According to the monitoring, the number of cervus elaphus has increased by 19.5 percent, musk deer by 40 per cent and roe deer by 15 per cent.
