Ulaanbaatar, 19 January 2021 - The COVID-19 pandemic is the latest crisis facing the world, but unless humans release their grip on nature, it won’t be the last, according to the new United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) report, which includes a new experimental index, Planetary-pressure adjusted Human Development Index.

At today’s press briefing on the COVID-19 situation in Mongolia, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa reported nine new cases in the country, all in Ulaanbaatar, detected after performing PCR testing on 9,115 people since yesterday, January 17.
