NATO helps to strengthen Mongolia’s cyber defence capacity
On January 18, NATO marked the successful conclusion of a multi-year project designed to bolster the cyber defence capacity of Mongolia, one of NATO’s partners across the globe. The project ran between 2017 and 2020 and was supported by NATO’s Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme.

First certificate of origin within Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement presented
Mongolia has joined the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement, becoming the 7th official member country. By joining the agreement, it becomes possible for domestic manufacturers to export a total of 10,667 types of products to the other six member countries, with 5-100 percent discount in taxes.

Fodder aid delivered to aimags facing harsh winter conditions
A team led by State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren and Resident Representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Mongolia Vinod Ahuja worked in Uvurkhangai, Bayankhongor, and Gobi-Altai aimags that are facing severe winter weather on January 17-19 to deliver fodder aid.

Revised Law on Courts aims to ensure fair judicial system
On January 15, State Great Khural, Mongolian parliament, adopted the revised Law on Courts at its plenary session. 50 members out of 52 parliament members present at the session voted in favor of approving the revised bill, which was submitted by the government in April 2020.
