16 days’ campaign against Gender-Based Violence starts today
The annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign for 2020 launches today with the theme “No More Violence: End Gender-Based Violence at Home, in the Workplace, and in Public Spaces”. The campaign is led by United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA) and the Mongolian Government, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Mongolia.

Mongolia-ROK Intergovernmental joint committee meets online
On November 24, the fifth meeting of the Joint Committee between the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea was held virtually. The meeting, attended by corresponding government officials, was headed by Minister of Environment and Tourism D.Sarangerel from the Mongolian side and Second Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Tae-ho from the Korean side.

Mongolian journalist shortlisted for Transparency International Anti-Corruption Award 2020
Transparency International has announced the shortlisted candidates for the 2020 Anti-Corruption Award. The four shortlisted candidates, including Mongolian journalist Bolortuya Chuluunbaatar, were selected from 228 nominated individuals and institutions. More than 400 nominations were received, mostly from members of the public, and Transparency International chapters.
