COVID-19: 35 new cases detected
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Over the past 24 hours, 5,433 people were
involved in a PCR testing nationwide and as a result 35 new cases of COVID-19
were detected, reported today by A. Ambaselmaa, Head of the Surveillance
Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases.
Ms. Ambaselmaa clarified that all the new cases of COVID-19 registered in the country have been
identified among contacts from cluster
infections
in Ulaanbaatar and people who are under mandatory isolation at quarantine facilities.
As of the morning of February 1, the number
of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia is 1,814, with 1,358
recoveries,
and 443 patients are currently undergoing
treatment at
hospitals.
