Ulaanbaatar and Minsk cooperation to be expanded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 28, Governor of the
capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D. Sumiyabazar met with Ambassador of the
Republic of Belarus to Mongolia Stanislav Chepurnoy.
At the meeting, Governor D.Sumiyabazar expressed readiness
to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level and further implement projects
and programs that meet municipal socio-economic development policy.
Ambassador Stanislav Chepurnoy said that the Belarusian side is willing to develop bilateral cooperation and expand the scope of joint projects and programs by amending the financing of the ‘General Agreement on Export Credits,’ established by the Governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Belarus. Within this frame, ‘Ulaanbaatar Elevators’ local-owned enterprise is developing a partnership with the Belarusian ‘Mogilevliftmash’ JSC and launched ‘Ulaanbaatar city public apartment elevator renovation project.’
Moreover, the sides concurred to develop the relations between Ulaanbaatar and
Minsk as sister cities to expand their cooperation, organize reciprocal visits
between municipal authorities and exchange experiences on upskilling human resources
in the fields of agriculture, health, IT, innovation and urban planning.
