Mongolia and Jordan Hold First Political Consultative Meeting in Amman

Ulaanbaatar, October 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The first Political Consultative Meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan took place on October 23, 2025, in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
The Mongolian delegation was
welcomed by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Dhaifallah Ali Al-Fayez, and held discussions on enhancing bilateral relations
and cooperation.
The two sides exchanged insights on the political, social, and economic landscapes in Mongolia and Jordan. Efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in mutually beneficial sectors, including food, agriculture, energy, culture, and education. In this context, support was extended for closer ties between the chambers of commerce and industry, as well as encouraging stronger engagement among business communities.
In addition, delegations also
shared views on regional and international issues of mutual interest,
reaffirming the commitment to continued cooperation within the framework of the
United Nations and other international organizations.
A key outcome of the consultative
meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between
the two foreign ministries, signed by Bulgan Enkhtuvshin, Ambassador of
Mongolia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, residing in Egypt, and Secretary-General
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dhaifallah Ali Al-Fayez.
The meeting was co-chaired by Anand Amgalan, Director of the Department of the Americas, the Middle East, and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Mohammad Abu Wandi, Director General of the Department of Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan.
