Berkh Underground Mine Museum project begins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The development of the ‘Berkh
Underground Mining Museum – Training and Tourism Center’ that will open in
2022, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the development of
mining industry in Mongolia begins today, June 18.
On June 16, State Secretary of the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry G.Nandinjargal signed contracts with Khos Bolor and MonEnerGeo companies that won the bids for supply and installation of lifting equipment. Companies that will carry out the remaining project development works will all be selected by June 21 and enter into contracts with the Mining Ministry.
Under their contracts with the Mining Ministry, the
aforementioned two companies will complete their part in the project by August
12.
