Largest park in ger district under construction in Songinokhairkhan district

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With financing from the capital city
government, a new park is being built on 4 hectares of land in the 22nd
subdisrict of Songinokhairkhan district.
In his remarks about the project, project initiator, Deputy
Governor in charge of road and transport projects of the capital city
B.Otgonsukh underlined the great importance of creating an open space area for
citizens in the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar and noted that the Ulaanbaatar city
government is putting emphasis on the creation of parks and other open space
areas in every district of the capital city. He also said the park project is part of that
effort which aims to ensure citizens’ right to live in a healthy and pleasant
environment
Also, the park’s bike paths and outdoor exercise area will
bring the residents of the Tolgoit area of Ulaanbaatar city a possibility to spend
pleasant leisure time.
