Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 5, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg became acquainted with the recording process for TV classes.
In aims of taking cautionary measures against the coronavirus infection, all schools and kindergartens have been temporarily closed until March 30. Thus, TV classes are being broadcast in order to prevent secondary school students from falling behind in studies in the framework of the partnership between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports, and the Mongolian TV Channels’ Association. As of March 5, of the total of 1044 TV lessons, 554 lessons have been put on the broadcast.
173 teachers, over 100 advisors, and over 300 journalists, cameramen, and directors of 18 channels--a total of about 600 people are working on preparing the TV lessons. Minister Yo.Baatarbileg asked about the teachers’ thoughts on the matter, and expressed gratitude to all those that are involved.
