Education minister meets UNICEF Representative

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Minister of Education, Culture,
Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg met with UNICEF Representative in Mongolia
Alex Heikens on February 13.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on collaborating in making
a plan to ensure the readiness of education, culture, science and sports sector
in times of risky situations of disaster and in building capacity of personnel
to reduce potential loss. Firsthand, the sides concurred to collaborate in
formulating the plan and guidance of preparedness of educational institutes in
case of extending the term of quarantine in prevention of the coronavirus
spread, and resuming school activities.
Moreover, the sides agreed to study possibilities to
introduce good practices of other countries in developing televised and online
classes and lifelong education for parents and caregivers.
