Ulaanbaatar Mayor meets Seoul delegation

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On
June 4, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan
received representatives of Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Republic of
Korea.
At the meeting, the sides discussed
about implementing a joint project ‘National Recreation Complex’ along Selbe
River in Ulaanbaatar and exchanged views on some works invested by the SMG.
Mr.Amarsaikhan said, “It is
essential for the city to train specialized personnel of landscaping and green plantations;
thus we have a plan to invite experienced specialists from SMG. Within this
cooperation, we have a request to study gardening and planting experiences of
Seoul city administration, get acquainted with activity of this kind of services
and train Mongolian specialists there.”
In turn, the Korean side
expressed its commitment to take active part in activities to study mutual
experiences and said they would convey about the joint landscaping project
along Selbe River to corresponding division of the SMG.
