Mayor of Ulaanbaatar receives physicians of Orléans Regional Hospital Center

/MONTSAME/ On May 21, Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar
S.Amarsaikhan met with physicians Jean-François Viala, Sabine Reynaud, Laurent Bret, and
Bertrand Muckensturm of the Orléans Regional Hospital Center (CHRO) of France,
which has been partnering with the National Traumatology and Orthopedics
Research Center (NTORC) of Mongolia since 2000. Ambassador of Mongolia to
France A.Battur was present at the meeting.
At the
meeting, Mayor S.Amarsaikhan was briefed on the projects and programs the
center is implementing in Mongolia and the sides exchanged views on some cooperation
issues. Mr. Jean-François Viala said “We arrived in Mongolia to meet our
Mongolian colleagues in neurology, biology, and rehabilitation. We are delighted
with the success our colleagues have achieved over the past 10 years of project
implementation. Moreover, the improvement of NTORC operations marks the achievement of our partnership”
For his
part, Mayor S.Amarsaikhan thanked the delegation for visiting Mongolia again and deepening the partnership and expressed his readiness to provide support
for the issues regarding the project implementation. The parties also agreed to
carry out many beneficial healthcare activities in the future.
