Seminar on hazard management training takes place
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In partnership with the United States Forest Service, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) organized a seminar under the theme, ‘Accident and hazard management team training’, in aims of introducing a management system during accidents and hazards, create appropriate legal framework and train the emergency officials.
Noting that introducing the management system during accidents and hazards to Mongolia will take time, First Deputy Head of NEMA, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan highlighted the importance of partnership in adapting the system to Mongolia.
A team of instructors of the U.S. Forest Service are hosting the seminar between April 1-5 for 41 emergency officials from NEMA, the National Rescue Brigade as well as emergency management departments from Dornod, Umnugobi, Khovd and Orkhon aimags.
