Mongolia welcomed to FESPO -2019 exhibition-fair in Zurich
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Organizers of the FESPO 2019, which will be held in Zurich from January 31 to February 3, 2019, reported September 27 that the host country 2019 is called Mongolia.
It was informed at travel news website www.travelnews.ch of Swiss Confederation, with a headline ‘FESPO Surprise: The host country 2019 is called Mongolia’.
“For more than ten years, we have not had an Asian host country at FESPO. We are confident that we have made the right choice with Mongolia as our host country and cannot wait to learn more about the legendary Genghis Khan empire at the end of January,” said exhibition manager Stephan Amstad.
Mongolia was highlighted to have exciting history of the country. In the days of Genghis Khan and his grandson Khubilai Khan, the Mongols conquered half of the earth. The nomads on the ground have many myths to tell. With the myths, the Mongols pass on their worldly wisdom, for example through the bond between man and nature, from generation to generation. With the tunes of ‘Khuumii’ (throat singing) and ‘Urtiin duu’ (long song), the Mongols express their worldview and the peculiarity of the nation.
The largest fair FESPO being organized in Zurich, Switzerland attracts over 600 exhibitors and about 63 thousand visitors.
