Mongolian doctor rendering aid to flood-affected people in Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A.Altanzagas, a physician of Medical Emergency Assistance Center of the Capital City of Ulaanbaatar is working in Japan, rendering aid to flood-affected people.
She is rendering medical and psychological aids through making diagnosis to evacuated people and distributing food and medicines in collaboration with international doctors and specialists in scope of cooperation of AMDA (Association of Medical Doctors of Asia) international organization.

Flooding disaster caused by torrential rain on July 8 killed over 200 people and more than 60 people were missed.
Emergency Assistance Center at Public Health Authority of the Capital City has been cooperating with Japan’s AMDA international for the 6th year. In 2013, two physicians from the Center worked in the Philippines during the natural disaster occurred in the country in 2013.
