Emergency Service Officers Save 41 Lives Nationwide

Ulaanbaatar, July 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Over the past week, 97 disaster and emergency incident calls were recorded across eight districts of the capital city and 45 soums in 17 aimags of Mongolia.
Responding to these calls, emergency service officers from national and local emergency management units saved the lives of 41 citizens and evacuated 188 people from smoke-affected areas to safety.
Of the total calls, 53 involved structural fires, 5 forest and steppe fires, 1 earthquake, 1 lightning incident, 2 severe windstorms, 3 floods, and 32 incidents related to human activity.
