Mongolian Team to Participate in the AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup

Ulaanbaatar, May 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 2025 AVC (Asian Volleyball Confederation) Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup will kick off on June 7, 2025, in Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Mongolian National Team will be one of the 11 teams participating in the week-long Cup. Namely, teams from Mongolia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Australia, India, Iran, Indonesia, and New Zealand will be divided into two groups for the AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup.
The Mongolian Volleyball Association announced the extended team line-up of 33 players and began their training on April 8, 2025. The final 14 athletes set for Hanoi were announced on May 11, 2025, and have started active training. P. Enkhkhuslen was appointed as leader of the Mongolian Team, consisting of G. Enkhnaran, B. Ninjbolor, G. Khandsuren, B. Amarbayasgalan, N. Nomin, G. Enkhzul, G. Saruulgerel, D. Anujin, D. Namuun, O. Erdene-Enkh, M. Sanchirmaa, E. Anudari, and S. Narangua. The average age of the National Team is 24, whereas its youngest player is the 19-year-old player B. Amarbayasgalan from the "Ulaanbaatar Phoenix" team. The Team's coaching staff consists of lead coach B. Kherlen, assistant coaches A. Munkh-Erdene and E. Enkhtugs, trainer M. Enkhbold, and statistics specialist D. Otgonkhuu.
The Mongolian Women's Team, which won 7th place in the Eastern Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship 2024, is now aiming for a medal. The Team is departing for Vietnam on June 4, 2025.

June 9: Mongolia – New Zealand /9 PM/
