Mongolia-Russia Friendship Days begin

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The staff of UB Railways (UBTZ), Mongolia-Russia
joint venture started the ‘Days of Mongolian-Russian Friendship’ on
October 1.
The Month of Mongolian-Russian Friendship was celebrated in 1952 for the first time. After the 50th Month of Friendship in 2010, the Mongolian-Russian parties decided to rename it the Days of Mongolian-Russian Friendship and Cooperation.
Today, UBTZ remained the only joint venture between the two
countries; therefore, the Friendship Days is being organized, relying on UBTZ.
In recent years, UBTZ has set a record in all transportation
indicators, making a valuable contribution to the development of Mongolia. The achievements
are the outcome of collaboration of Mongolian and Russian experts.
Next year, the two countries will mark the 100th anniversary
of the establishment of their diplomatic relations. At the opening of the Days
of Mongolian-Russian Friendship, UBTZ authorities emphasized that the great
works of celebrating historic anniversary has begun that day.
