800 City taxis to be put into service

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As part of the efforts to improve taxi
service in Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar Taxi Cab LLC has been formed under
Ulaanbaatar Development Corporation JSC.
Ulaanbaatar Taxi Cab and UB Cab LLCs established a
memorandum to launch the City Taxi brand by bringing together self-employed
taxi drivers with left-hand vehicles and having them meet local taxi service
standards. Under the memorandum, the sides will put at least 1,000 such taxis
into service within 2020.
During his meeting with the drivers of the first 50 City
taxis on June 28, Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar
S.Amarsaikhan thanked the drivers for their cooperation in the effort and said
that 800 taxis in total have been readied to provide quality and safe services.
Ulaanbaatar Taxi Cab plans to use pure electric taxis in the future with local and foreign investments.
