Health Minister visits National Diagnostic and Treatment Center

Minister of Health D.Sarangerel and representatives of the offices and departments
of the Ministry of Health yesterday became familiarized with operation of the
National Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
Disaster protection team
of the hospital has ensured state of heightened readiness, developing a detailed
plan to use 250 beds in case of wide spread of coronavirus infection among the population.
Furthermore, it conducted training for healthcare professionals on procedure for putting on and removing personal protective equipment, hand hygiene, guidance on preventing from the infection and instruction on isolation for 35 times as well as exercises for 3 times.
On the same day, an opening of Health Support and Prevention Center of the hospital took place. Preventive examination and health support activities are significant to early detection of any non-infectious disease among the population, give health education, engrain healthy lifestyle and habit, improve quality of life as well as to give knowledge, practice and attitude on preventing from health risks to be caused by adverse impact from household, work place and surroundings. With establishment of the center, it became available to conduct preventive and early detection examinations among the whole population with the use of up-to date diagnostic and treatment method and technology.
