N.Enkhbold: Military recruitment will not be held in Selenge, Dornogobi, Bayan-Ulgii and Ulaanbaatar this year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Military recruitment of 2021 will be held within May this year. However regarding with the current situation, soldiers will not be recruited this year from aimags namely Selenge, Dornogobi, Bayan-Ulgii and Ulaanbaatar city, which are close to border ports and operations of isolation and surveillance are running, informed Minister of Defense and Deputy Head of the SEC N.Enkhbold yesterday during a briefing on timely issues.
A few number of soldiers, who are in urgent need mainly at border units, will be replaced and recruited. Moreover, ‘Student Soldier’ program will not be carried out this year, said Minister N.Enkhbold.
