State Emergency Commission Chair works at Bichigt border checkpoint
SocietySukhbaatar /MONTSAME/ Officials led by Deputy Prime Minister, chair of the State Emergency Commission U.Enkhtuvshin and the heads of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and General Authority for Border Protection on March 27 worked at Bichigt border checkpoint in regard with the upcoming resumption of the transport of oil, brown coal and other goods.
The working group checked the measures being taken against the novel coronavirus including installment of disinfection facility and provision of necessary disinfection equipment and products - which are the responsibility of PetroChina Daqing Tamsag LLC - and the checkpoint’s preparedness and addressed some pressing issues.
NEMA Head T.Badral gave an order to immediately finish the installment of disinfection facility which is currently 60 percent complete. Authorities of the checkpoint requested Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin to authorize the provision of emergency and patrol vehicles and water tank trunk and disinfection equipment that are necessary for maintaining the checkpoint’s operation.
The working group decided to provide a patrol car for the police department of Erdenetsagaan soum of Sukhbaatar aimag and disinfection equipment with funding from the State Emergency Commission and put relevant ministries and local bodies in charge of the remaining issues.
