“Made in Mongolia” event running in Washington D.C, USA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Between February 10 and 14, “Made in Mongolia” event is taking place at the at the World Bank Group in Washington D.C., USA. Various activities are being held during the event, such as trade fair of Mongolia’s export products, cultural performance, traditional heritage events and business meetings.
Aimed at providing support to Mongolian business companies and entrepreneurs, the “Made in Mongolia” event is co-organized by Mongolia’s ‘Export and International Trade’ NGO, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, World Bank Group and Worth Consulting with support from the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and U.S. Department of Commerce.
Producers’ of wool, cashmere, leather, health and food industry of Mongolia are attending the event, promoting Mongolia in the country. Also, specialists from relevant US agencies and companies are introducing US quality standards, trade conditions, legal environments, certificates of origins and examinations to business people from Mongolia.
The opening of the event held on February 11 was attended by Mongolian Minister for Food, Agriculture and Light Industry J.Saule and Ambassador to the USA Yo.Otgonbayar.
